The truck i wish i had back

I really miss this guy, wish i could get it back

 

I have many I want back.. But if I had to choose one, I'd take my '80 yota hilux 4x4

 

ya i loved this guy. 88 yota extra cab v6 4x4 had 6 inch lift pushin 35 inch bfg at

 

I miss my 1987 extra cab 4x4...........along w/my very 1st Toyota I ever owned...........a bone stock 1989, 5sp ,4cyl, reg cab.....7000.00 off the lot.....I miss those prices to...................

 

Funny how time dulls the memory.

My 87' pick up was a great truck in a lot of ways, but as simple as it was compared to my 09 and even my 2000, had its share of flaws.

I remember the very visible line of spot welds over the rear wheel wells that bugged the $#it over me, (even more visible due to the black color) the rusted out horizontal seam where the sections of the bed met (and i cleaned that thing religiously and undercoated the piss out of it at my buddies Ziebart) and the crappy seat that was like riding on a milk crate after about 75'000 miles.

 

haha the day after i had got a new engine in that truck i rear ended a little honda civic on the sedona switchbacks going 35 mph, and my tire hit the back of there car cuz my truck was so high. There was no damage to there vehicle but it bent my frame a little haha

 

My 87 4WD turbo (22RTE) & mixed breed pup Zephyr, she was the best damn dog next to simon of course

 

I'd give almost anything to have my 94 Toyota back! thing was a monster compared to my 2009.

 

x2.. cept i had a 93. 2.4 22re 4x4.. i beat the snot outta that thing... when i can afford it... im gonna have another. great little truck.
