Christmas Gift Ideas for kids?

Ok...so...it's that time of year again. Anyone stumped on what to buy?

I don't have any kids of my own so I don't know *what's hot* and *what's not* in terms of stuff for kids.

I think I have my neiphew figured out.... Getting him a Plantronics Voyager 510 headset for his PS3 and probably a digital camera also. He's 13 years old.

My neice is 9 years old...and although my sister (her mom) has given me ideas, it's the same-old stuff every year. Video games, stuffed animals, etc.

Any fresh & different ideas for the kids this year? What have you purchased that went over really well with the kids?

Normally, I wouldn't care about doing my shopping this early...but we'll all be together for Thanksgiving down in Virginia (they're from Connecticut) and I wanna get their gifts now so I don't have to ship them later.

Oh yeah, she's probably getting a Nintendo DSi ...any good games?

 

My kids have no problem telling me what they want. Stay safe and ask them what they want and get it for them.

 

How about the gift of giving instead of receiving? Maybe helping out others such as canned food drives, etc.

 

all depends on what they are in to. if its video games, get them games. every year changed with my daughter, hell it changed from week to week with her..lol

I will be down in Virginia ThanksGiving week myself. We are having a family reunion with family from all over the world coming to town

 

If they have a wii system the new Mario Bros is on the way...............
