Hey Everyone, How much do you guys pay for your vehicle registration fees?
I just paid $210 for mine:
    Registration Fee = $41
    License Fee = $122
    Weight Fee = $24
    County/District Fees = $11
    Smog abatement fee = $12
This is in California by the way.

I don't remember the initial amounts because it was all rolled into the price of the truck. The yearly registration in Rhode Island is $40.00 plus new this year a $1.50 "technology fee" which is a clever name for an additional tax.

Oooooo my gawd, some of you guys pay a hell-of-a-lot!!

And I thought $81 was bad!!

I was gonna downgrade the truck to Class I and pay only $58.

Long story - new tacoma is listed in Class II (5,000-8,000lb GVWR)
The darn thing just barely fits in Class II with a GVWR of 5,350.
Class I is anything below 5,000lbs. The older tacos were class I.

I don't know, yet. I haven't registered it. I guess I paid the dealer for some taxes and fee's, but thats all hidden. We don't have sales tax, so thats a plus! But to make up for it, and all the A.H.'s that register from out of state to avoid their state sales tax, MT charges a lot for the registration. I was paying $243 a year for the sticker for my 97. I can only guess it'll double for an 08. Especially since I can't claim it as a ranch vehicle.

Minnesota's varies. Brand new, the Taco is $190 and then goes down to $100 each year after that until 10 years and then it goes down again. The state congress just dipped their hands in our pockets to create a 6 billion transportation bill. Part of that funding comes from jacking up new car tabs to around $250 or something.

It's a conspiracy! Be careful, AIG might seize your truck if you don't pay your fees. Did I say AIG? I meant the government. Hah!

$259... this year. Arnie wants to raise it despite lowering it as a campaign promise to get elected. We'll see what next year brings.

    My boat trailer $14.

I wish GA would abolish the car tax fee, like other states. Just up our sales tax 1%. Then out-of-towners & conventioneers would help pay for the roads.
