New Poll: Xbox 360 vs. PS3

I've owned 4 different 360's since they came out and only one PS3. I tried hooking the PS3 up via the standard cables that came w/ it, and it froze every time. Sold it and stuck with the 360, mainly cuz of the controller.

 

I have an Xbox I'm trying get rid of to make room for my PS3... Can't beat free online, blu ray player, etc.

 

Love my PS3. Have had it since they came out. I've always been a Playstation guy though. Love that online is also free and the bluray is very nice not having to buy a separate player. The PS3 is still one of the best bluray players on the market.

 

I've had a reconditioned 360 for about 3 years now with no problems...

get the 360 elite...they have fixed many of the issues.

yea...well no, I purchased the xbox already modded and they caught my housemate on Live after I specifically told him not to go on

 

lol 23-23 on the voting. I was hoping a clear-cut winner would emerge, but I guess not.

 

The game play and graphics are damn near the same...

but the defining option is the Blu-ray player... Microsoft screwed themselves by not including one.

PS3 hands down because its more than just a game system...

the only reason I'd need to buy a Xbox is for the different games... ie Left 4 dead 2

I've owned a 360 until someone broke into my house and stole it... so I used the insurance money and bought a PS3

 

Ask the people that own both. They will most likely have unbiased opinions.

What type of gaming do you do? FPS/RPG/Fighting/Whatever else?

For FPS, 360 is the only way. The controller rocks ass for shooting. I'm dead serious PS3 n00bz. I love the controller.

Anything else, (fighting racing RPGing graphics coolness everything) get a PS3.


I've got 4 games total. 3 for Xbox, and 1 for PS3. I don't use the PS3 that much, but I'm not getting rid of it. It looks like sex. I put the 360 through brutal hours of gameplay and my controller doesn't break when I throw it. (ahem, derek... )

I like the Xbox 360. Live is (IMO) is better than the PSN.

ive got 360... had it for about a year now... havent had any issues with it..sometimes i wish i got the ps3 though. free internet.. blueray.... just cant get that with 360.

 

how about the best of both worlds... Call microsoft get them to send you a box to return ur 360 its about a 3-4 week process to fix it... for free!!!! spend the money on a ps3. then u can have both systems and u get to keep mw2.

 

I have a PS3 and my son has a 360, even he wants to switch over to PS3 when his xbox dies...the next time.
