Exploring: Mojave boneyard

In November I was traveling through the Mojave desert returning home from a trip when I found an airplane boneyard! I have always wanted to see one and now I finally have.

I backed my truck up so I could stand on the bed and capture pics without the fence in the way.

It's not just a boneyard. That's where the airline industry stores unused jets in long-term storage.

You have NEVER seen so many mothballed planes!

When you fly out on American, it goes down the runway and the old planes are all lined up. Pretty cool

It looks like there's a residential neighborhood across the street from this site. That's pretty crazy. Obviously the planes don't go in & out often, but I wonder what it'd be like to live across the street from something like that...
