    One of my cc's has been cloned, again, I just checked my bill online and i have around $1200 USD on new charges, on sears and target in the US, WTF i haven't been there in about 3 months.... :mad:

    last time this happened i didnt pay, the bank concluded it wasnt my fault....hope is the same this time.... motherfuckers....

    the modus operandi is, they clone the cards down here, put the data on a new plastic and then go shop to el paso or las cruces.....

    had the same thing happen to me,its a shame that people can do this. they got 6500.00 out of my account in 6 hours.

    I don't know why credit card companies don't just start making users enter passwords when swiping their card. It would solve most of this.

    You don't hear of ATM cards being cloned.

    EDIT: How do you go 3 months without going to sears? You are a man right? :)

    I think the stores over the US should ask for a valid passport when using a foreign credit card... that should get rid of the problem....

    and down here the card holder should never have to hand over the CC to the store clerk....

    Put See ID on the back of your Credit Cards. That way the merchant has to check your ID.

    oil change...
    doesnt work. No one ever looks at cards...the only place I am asked to show my ID is at A local fried chicken place. When I bought a $900 tv at best buy they didnt even ask!
