You really do, Ross? That surprises me. I mean, from the WTF thread to the individual flames and taunts, (not to mention the UG) I find this forum much less gorilla armed by mods than most.

Political moderation, yeah, but that's neccessary to halt the drive by's. :)

I agree... I've been to other forums and it's like a dictatorship as compared to TW. That's what makes TW a place to sit back and relax for many members.

Being a Moderator means you have to make a judgment call somtimes. I felt the thread was escalating in a direction that wasnt good. I closed it. I talked with the other mods, and it was re opened. Worst case, was it was down for a few mins.
There is no Moderator College, and We/I do the best we can. Have mistakes been made? Sure. BUT...I feel, as do others, that TW has the most relaxed staff out there.

I think the mods are pretty good at what they do. I would actually like to see them post more. Some people are just momo's and can ruin a thread quickly. Ruin enough threads and the site suffers. I for one, would not be here if it was a bunch of elementary school kids running around. I like fun, yet I like people who know what they are talking about and speak/type with some intelligence.

Too many time does something gets posted that is just plain old wasted space and keeps the decent threads off the top for people to read/see.

I like the job they do. Nobody requires you to stay around and post. If we do not satisfy your ambitions as far as a forum goes, please don't stick around. If you have something to discuss, please post it up. We all love good discussions.

    Sorry for the :threadjacked:
