Yes and no. I try not to but sometimes I forget. Its just me and my wife and my two dogs. I walk my dogs about 5x a day (1-30 minute, and 4-15 minute walks) and they track dirty into my place anyway. Cant wait til we buy a house. Hardwood floors or tile everywhere. Carpet is disgusting. I always imagine the imbedded dirt and sperm in the carpet. :anonymous:

No way, but I have to stay after my wife so she always takes hers off. We have a gravel drive, so you can only imagine the crap that gets tracked in. I can't wait until we can blacktop our 500'+ drive.

First off somebody has a lot of time on their hands thinking up such polls....... (and I'm answering.... )

I put my shoes on in the morning and then I take them off to go to bed.

I have done service work in houses where there are a line of shoes at the door.... I would ALWAYS leave my work boots on!
(So as not to offend any one and for insurance reasons........) :D

My mom is a Nazi for taking off shoes, so I do when I'm home, but when I'm at my house at school, they stay on.

I wear 'em in the house. Depends....
If they're muddy, dirty & wet, I'll take 'em off. But otherwise, I have floor mats laying around. I'm the person who cleans the house/carpets and it doesn't bother me.

Now...if we ever install new carpets.... it'll be a completely different story.
The carpets in our house now are 15+ years old and don't look that bad.

If I`m working around the house my shoes are on , but if not I don`t wear them in the house. I have all hardwood flooring so it really doesn`t matter either way.

Most of my downstairs is tile so it's no big deal for anyone to keep their shoes on when they come in. But I grew up with no shoes in the house at all so it's habit for me to take them off if I'm about to step on carpet.
