I've thought about it a lot. The regular cab is just too small for me. And the 2.7l isn't doing it for me either. I'm thinking about trading it in for a v6 access cab.

My first ever new car was a Chevy Blazer. It was the most beautifully style POS. Major issues with transmission. Had wipers that just turn on without the vehicle even running.

Dealerships didn't want to do warranty work and would actually tell you to go to another dealership because they could not handle the issues.

When the Service Manager says, take it to another dealership you know you are screwed.

I see why Chevrolet went bankrupt. I totally understand why the Toyota CEO said they would destroy Chevy. Too bad for him Chevy self destructed.

I wouldn't trade it in for another truck. A Tacoma will probably be the only truck i'll ever own. I've considered trading it for a sports car though, like a cts-v or g37 :p

In a recent Poll, they compared internet users to the car brand they owned.

Only 35% of Chevy owners used the internet, lowest % of internet users for any car brand.

In comparison to Honda owners of which 70% used the internet.

    Obligatory "small penis" comment.

Anyway, to answer you question, christ no, I have not considered trading in my Tacoma...especially not for something with worse reliability and offroad prowess...

Yeah. My tacoma was an impulse buy. I went from getting my deposit money back on a Wrangler to driving off the lot with a new Tacoma in about 3hrs.

I wanted a wrangler for so long I didn't really think of any other alternatives and when the Chrysler dealership started dicking me around, asking for a deposit even though they were not able to guarantee they would locate the vehicle I wanted in a timely manner and charging more then the Jeep website would advertise I just took my money and ran across the street to the Toyota dealer at 3P.M on a Saturday.

I've always liked Tacomas and knew they had a great reputation among warlords and such so I took a 4x4 2.7l AC 5sp base model for a spin and drove it home the same day.

I was in shock the next day when I realized the base model didn't have cruise control nor intermittent wipers. Good thing they were easy fixes...

Looking back maybe I should've done more research. As much as I love my truck I probably should've bought the SR5 trim and maybe even the V6 TRD OR w/ an auto tranny. Or maybe a completely different vehicle altogether.

I did the math in November and I didn't seem to be making too much sense to trade it in at this point but I do get the urge every now and to shop around for a replacement. It'll be hard to resist getting into something sportier next spring.

Every time I see the new camaro I get the urge, but I just love having a truck so that outweighs the decision.

I really dig the new STI and 370z... but I just got my Coma, so I don't have an urge to trade it in yet. The new Trail edition 4Runners also have caught my eye.

^Fuck yes. Although I'd never trade my Tacoma in for it. But they are nice. I saw a silver one at the dealership and I was eyeing it up.

I think none of the Full-size trucks now look mean or aggressive in my opinion.

Okay, I lie, looking at those Tundra's makes me want to trade my Tacoma.

Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
If I moved back up North, then I would trade my PreRunner in for a 4x4 Tacoma.

I've always wanted a Tacoma since I was a kid, so I've got my heart set on one. :)
