I got a call from my fiancee from work this morning. She works a Hanscom AFB. I could barely understand her. She tells me her best friend, Vanessa got killed early this morning in a car accident. Shes taking it pretty bad, and it doesnt help that she lost her own brother 10 years ago, in a car accident. Vanessa was a beautiful girl, only 23. Kristy and her were friends since birth and Vanessa was supposed to be her maid of honor. Out of all of her friends Vanessa was my favorite. I cant believe it still, and on Christmas Eve. Her mom is a nurse and her dad is a captain on the MA State Police. I cant imagine how those poor people feel. Really guys I dont mean to bring this thread down. Its just such a huge loss.

Losing friends to car accidents is horrible. Be there for your girl and it'll slowly get better. I lost a friend in high school-10 years ago....and there are very few days that I don't think about her for a few minutes.

Condolences to your girl and her friends family.

Ah shit that sucks. I lost a good friend in a car wreck when we were both 21. Tough to get over, I still think of him often. I really don't know what to write here, but I'll pray for her and her family. Sorry for your loss.

Thank you all for the kind words. Whats real sad is thi girl had just turned her life around. She was doing so good. Finally kicked her loser boyfriend out and was taking classes again. I havent heard much from Kris today. She and her family are with Vanessa's family. I told her to call me if she needs anything. Now I think she just has to be with them. I still cant believe it.
