Yep, shopping for auto insurance. Man it sucks. Anyone have a good company to recommend? I've looked at the Major ones. Geiko, Allstate, Progressive. So damn expensive. My couple tickets don't help ether.

I've been with State Farm for about 10 years and they are great to deal with. I have shopped around and no one can beat their rates.

I have state farm as well. Nothing wrong so far, but only have had to deal with them once.

State Farm here as well. They will actually pay market value in WA and will consider all of the mods if one's vehicle is a total loss (meaning you won't lose every penny you stick into your vehicle) - won't be dollar for dollar but still very fair.

By the way, you get what you pay for with insurance. If you shop price alone...be prepared for low level of service should something negative (i.e., claim) occur.

Are you Military? If you are then I highly highly recommend USAA. They have great rates and their customer service is second to none. I got insurance with them and loved them so much that I switch my entire banking over to them. Trust me. They are awesome

I have gmac. I pay 60 a month full coverage. Great service. Got hit by an uninsured motorist in my last truck and they paid up. My rates didn't go up either. I have no accidents and no tickets on my record. And I have good student discount.

Try Travelers Insurance...I checked a few dozen companies and they were the cheapest. I got a pretty good deal since I also have my homeowner's insurance w/them. I have had them for 2 years now and have had to file 3 claims and always get good/fair service.

They are very good. Their niche is military. Great ratings/low complaint ratio.

30-40 bucks off my insurance bill for my late model sport bike is a very small drop in the bucket. I'm still not going to complain- cause it's the cheapest I've found.

    +1

Plus every year this far they've cut me a dividend check at the end of year due to over-estimating the premiums. Last year was 71 bucks, let along how much cheaper it is than the rest to start with. Also, A+ company to work with for claims.
