Don't need a broker to get invoice....

Lots of people are getting invoice prices on their own. I got invoice price for mine last year.

You just gotta go do some research, know exactly what you want and know exactly what you wanna pay for it (so to speak), be patient and don't let the dealers persuade you into anything.

Usually, if you shop around to different dealers - you'll eventually get one of them that'll bend over backwards to get your business (at the prices you WANT - so to speak).

    Thanks for your input Janster.

So you were able to get invoice price out the door (including tax)? The tacoma i want seems to be very rare. White 4x4 6spd manual double cab. There was only like 4 in fifty dealers around me. Well that is what it said on the online inventory. But thanks for the valuable information.

Here's what to do. Go to Consumer Reports online, order their $14 auto buying report thing, you tell them everything about the car (truck) you want to buy and they give you the dealer's rock bottom number for it. It's the number from which you start bargaining. Works.

Tax was ontop all that....I had a $19,000 trade-in and a $26,400 (Give or take) cost on the new truck. I only had to pay tax on the difference.
The truck msrp was something like $29,400 (give or take).
