    I am being audited and would like to talk to someone about a couple things before i get torn apart by the IRS. Does anyone here do this for a living?

    I'm a CPA, but I don't deal with the IRS much (ever). There's another guy on here who has more degrees than I do (per the education threads) and looks to be a tax master.

    I will PM both the guys on this site. I talked to the lady today...she said that I was not on the "bad (red flag)" list, but really one of the few random selections. I don't have a lot of deductions, just very large ones (house, truck for work) which will be easily shown. There are some small ones like cash contributions of a couple hundred bucks and tools for work that may be a problem. Mostly I had a question about a second home that could be considered a rental property that I never claimed. Thanks for the help guys, will report back if I need more!
