I know that this isn't a subject broached often on sites like this, nobody wants to be a buzzkill, no pun intended of course. It's easy for us to think that we alone are responsible for the results of our actions when we're offroad, but if it does go bad and a rescue is necessary in the backcountry then our first responders are put into jeopardy. there is nothing more frustrating for a rescuer than to find out that an injured party has had there proper judgment impaired at a time when they needed it the most. At this point it is hard to look at it as an accident.

Like I said, don't mean to bring this thread down, just think it needs to be said. There's a time and a place for everything, and the time for partying is after the run. That being said, party on fellow TWers.

Skidoo at 70mph (Yes, mph), drunk and into some popular trees.

Just left him there. Or what was left anyways. It became an RCMP matter when the ECG comes back as a straight line.

    If you have to ask.

Pretty much. It was a fun call, tiring as all hell, but unless you want to end up as beaver food as was so eloquently put, yeah, don't Drink and operate a motor vehicle. Specially one with NOS on it. (You heard me)

Anyways, this guy had 4 major traumatic injuries anyone which would have killed him. You could say he was dead four times over. And even though it looked like he had a helmet on (I'm kinda doubting it, but there was one at the scene) at that speed, nothing is saving your ass.
