Tougher dog toy?

    So after much coaxing and peer pressure, I finally convinced the dog that the tire biter was worth a go. 10 minutes in and this is the result:

    Ya, I tried this brand too. Same results. I use the Survivor Brand Tire. Much thicker. Not to say that fine specimen won't give em a workout but my springer lasted just a bit longer with the brand you show. The Survivors, I buy by the box of 4 (about 6-7 bucks each) and they last about 3 months each. Give em a shot. ken

    Just do a google search online. I think I used petguys.com last time. Anyway, do the search and buy the 6 inch tire (unless your buying for a pekinese, cacapoo or some other wierd dog). Also, occasionally you can find them on eBay but I have found going direct to some of the animal stores online works just fine.

    umm.... get a rope and connect it to a garage door spring and connect it to a tree branch, tie a tire or chew toy to the other end, have it where the dogs back legs are toching the ground and your dog can play tug-o-war for hours!
