Tougher dog toy?

Does anyone know of a strong durable dog toy. My dog loves his toys and he loves to chew them up even more. So does anyone know of any long lasting toys that can handle aggressive chewing? He doesn't really care for nylabones as they don't have enough give to them.

Tire Biter by far the strongest toy i've ever seen...my girlfriends dog could chew through a locrosse ball in 2 minutes, but the tire biter has lasted a month and is still fine... http://www.mammothpet.com/tirebiter.asp they have different sizes depending one what kind of dog. they're well worth the money

My dog Zulu used to like traffic cones.
I'd take him for a walk and he'd pick one up and bring it home.

He doesn't really give much attention to the rubber kong toys. He has a few and plays with them once in a while. As for the kong wubba

he just chews right through those in no time

Tuffy's

I have been using the Tuffy's Tuff Scale dog toys over the past year and absolutely love them. Simon is a tough chewer and rips apart everything even the toys listed as indestructible. These toys last and it takes him a few months now not minutes to enjoy them. Plus they are soft and kinda cool

They are somewhat spendy but worth it imo. Also the covered Kongs work great too. Here are some links for Tuffy's dog toys.

Don't know how big your dog is but we have always used the classic Kong's for our rott's come's in many different size's. Put a little peanut butter down in there and they will never put it down.

We had a couple of Rotties that would LOVE to chase, and chew on, Paint buckets. THe 5 gallon ones. We would buy them from Home Depot, wash them, and let them have 'em. Other times, I would take a tennis ball, put it in a sock, and tie a knot in the sock to keep the ball in. Seemed to work pretty good.

Rubber Tires

The tire is called the "Petsport Survivor Tire". Comes in several different sizes. I buy the 6" by the box of 4. They seem to last about 3-4 months a piece. My dog loves to chew and this so far has been one of the few things he has managed not to destroy in about 20 minutes or less. There are other brands we have tried which have not fared as well. Ken

I have used the kongs too. Works pretty well. Me, I took a rag and put some pheasant scent on it, then stuffed it in. My hunting dogs go crazy trying to remove it. Also works great in the back yard. Got a huge ivy patch I can toss it in for them to go find.

My mutt is 70lb and 24" at the shoulders. At least that was his last weight at the vet a few months ago. He doesn't really pay much attention to the rubber kong toys. The cloth ones he will chew through in minutes.

Riley, my retriever (80lbs., 25" at the withers), loves those giant ropes with the knots tied at the ends. I got him one when he was a puppy. He's a year and a half old now and still has it.

my friends pit would play with a full size car tire. he'd chuck it in the air and the dog would play fetch with it. had 2 legs inside and carried it around the backyard lol
