Alabama greatest hits was the 1st tape I ever owned, I played it over and over for weeks. I think I knew every word to every song. Don't care for country music much, but some of the chicks are hot as hell.

 

Pretty good redo of that song...But Kenny is still a pole smoker.

 

kenny is the fucking man. his concerts are so fun. he's also sold more tickets than any artist in any genre this CENTURY!

 

I like old Kenny before he became Jimmy Buffets prodigy. Wish he would go back to country music.

Yeah I kinda knew that. His hometown is about 30 miles from here lol. Your kinda missing the point. Those lyrics refer to Kenny Chesney's current public image as a island hopping beach bum. He no longer sings country music (of course sadly some people consider most of his new stuff country). Hence the "what happened to the Tennesseean?" lyrics. Don't get me wrong, 3 or 4 songs over the last 6 or 7 years were country.... but singin nobody want to go to heaven is far from country.
