Sounds good. Im horrible with money, that'd definitely help. Next wheeling trip, we'll resume the tradition of grabbing something to eat after, and you can enlighten me with your knowledge after Im done bashing JD for his less than stellar driving skills.

I bought at $72.70 on Monday and it's already back up to $77.05. $1500 in 5 days is pretty nice. I'll be holding it for a while as it's been over $90 in the past year and will probably settle somewhere between $77 and $90 before too long.

Mr. Dysfunctional - I was just talking about your schooling with Zoom (my GF) about your degree and she wanted to know what ppl do with a philosophy degree? My comment was that with your personality you could do most anything!

You know, my dad was a VP of a multinational engineering company (English degree and he couldn't operate a screwdriver). You my friend have the personality that would get people to follow :) and if I didn't have to pull you with a strap, I may have followed you! ;) - I'm just sayin'

See what I'm saying - you guys are good!!! - Just my style would sell before it gets to 90. Many people track to the same logic and even put a little imaginary kicker on it say $92. Believe me I don't think were going to have a strong economy for another year or so. I just like to get a fair jump and then out to my next trade. I love to see other investors/traders here!!! :)

Nice thread Lents. Seems panic is horribly contagious (and unnecessary) on the recalls. There are many more folks out there who are very pleased with their vehicles than are not. My Tacoma hasn't had any probs. I've been noticing all the "It's the end of the world!" reaction to the Toyota recalls too, and think it's pretty lame. X2.

I will not calm down. I paid 30 large for a truck from a company that was supposed to be the most reliable. Now major discrepancies are being aired out about them. Like I said before, I really dont know what happendn with my truck, just going to fix it when I lift it. But toyota needs to get their shit together.

The media is blowing it up because it's the first real problem from Toyota in a long time. The other automakers are blowing it up because of the same reason. Just wait til another company has a problem...all will be forgotten. They'll be fine in a few months. I think the majority of owners realize that sh*t happens. If you're careening out of control throw 'er in Neutral and e-brake.

Somethin I wanna rant about (Sorry Lents...gonna threadjack a little:eek:...) almost every thread I read lately, someone wants to lock it. IBTL IBTL IBTL! That's in every flippin thread. Not every thread needs to be locked just because people disagree. It'll be OK. We're all (mainly) adults. If you can't take criticism by people ONLINE, the majority of which you don't even know, you have problems. I understand you're not supposed to call people names and all that, but c'mon, let people discuss/argue a little. It'll all be OK. It's the intrawebz, and from what I understand, that's siriuz biznuz, but seriously....lighten up a little.

A degree in Philosophy is much like a degree in History, there's no particular sector that you fit into other than teaching, but its still a degree. I started out wanting to continue onto grad school and do the whole professor thing but that dream died after REALLY looking at our education system. I have 4 classes left (taking 2 of them now) to get my bachelors and, at this point, Im finishing just because Im so far ahead. I dont really know what I'm going to do with my degree, but I know that having a B.A is better than not having one at all.

My wife currently works in property management and we get excellent benefits on top of her excellent pay and perks. Unfortunately the position she holds is demanding and only allows her to go to school part time, when she'd like to go full time. My near future goals involve graduating and hopefully acquiring a position similar to hers so we dont have to make any changes to our financial status and she can finish up her schooling asap. From there, Ill see what doors open up for me. Hopefully it all works out for me.

I'm with ya! The only point that I would extend is that ppl should also ask the question "What is it about me that is allowing me to get all pissed off about this guys position" vs. "This guys an asshole [because he doesn't think like me]. I have strong opinions about many things and I have changed my mind about somethings after someone got me pissed off (really me getting pissed off at me) and helped me knock my nogen and bang some sense into it.
    :)

It will - I would buy you at $12.28 and plan on selling at around $1,290,210 after a few stock splits! :)
