Well I got tickets for my gf and I to Brooks and Dunn, At Houston Rodeo. Well Their is NO WAY IN HELL im gonna pay $8 a beer at this concert.

So will it be wrong of me to kinda sneak beers into the venue? Or should I just suck it up and pay.

I'd sneak if I had the balls to. But is it $8 for a cup/glass that is 24 oz or 12 oz.?

I went to a Patriots game and they had Sam Adams for $10 for 24 oz. That's $5 for a premium beer. That's sometimes less than what I pay at a restaurant or a bar.

Well my GF has a huge purse...Ive been to several shows to this venue and they bearly check the bags.

Now I was thinking put the beers in the bottom and put a layer of cloth material on top of them. BAM!! beer is hidden and nobody knows.

Don't they take something like a drumstick and sort of move things around for like 2 seconds to see or is it all visual?

I guess...that's another thing too....is it worth being kicked out.

    Yep.
dont sneak anything in. not worth ruining the night over it. get there early, have some fun predrinking in the parking lot. get a nice buzz going and head in. a couple drinks at 8 bucks will not kill you.

sneaking in your own beer is "ghetto" man. suck it up and pay or drink before/after the concert.

how many beers are you seriously going to be able to fit in a purse? 3? maybe 4? how warm is that 4th beer going to be?

not worth it for a couple beers IMO

whiskey on the other hand... a flask or two in the waist band gives me jack and cokes all night long for the cost of a cup of coke from a vendor :drunk:

hardest part about sneaking beer into the rodeo, they only sell those 16 oz aluminum cans, or they used to at least, so you would have to sneak those...

last time i went it was something like 7.50 for a 16 oz, which is high as hell, but like it was said, get a good buzz going before you go in, then buy two or three there...

i always bring a six pack of 16 oz and drink it in the parking lot before i go in, easiest way.

ill be there tomorrow for kenny chesney, im kind of debating what to do about the alcohol situation as well..

It seems that you have a moral dilemma about this topic. If you are asking the question, then I suspect you already know your answer. Ethics, Brother, ethics.
