How will you spend your Stimulus Check?

$600 single tax payer
$1,200 married couples
$300 for each child

Since I paid off all my credit cards last year, and basically debt free....We plan on taking a summer vacation (road trip)to Seattle/Vancouver.

If not then momma's going to get a new washer and dryer.

I'm thinking about buying a lot of foreign goods. I hear that buying stock in Brazil is good right now.

Seriously, I doubt I'll ever see that money...my wife will probably put it towards our next vacation.

My Brazil fund is up 14% in the last 3 months. I should have put more into that instead of Vanguard's mid cap...

whats the earning cap? i am single no kids and no mortgage and i make a decent amount but i dont think its enough to disqualify me

The true kicker is: Next year 2008 tax returns, you will have to pay taxes on the stimilus refund you receive this year... Figure 28% to be safe... So, if your elgible for the $600 rebate, prepare to pay back $148.00 next year as it is considered taxable income.. Pretty sure its $75,000 for single and $150,000 for joint filing.
