One of my neighbors stopped by earlier today. Apparently, he was looking at the very same truck that I just purchased. He crawled all over it admiring it up close and ribbing me for beating him to the truck. He didn't bite immediately, as he wanted one more simply equipped. Judging by his reaction however, he was apparently talking himself into buying it. What are the odds of this? :D

BTW, the guy is cool, and isn't going to mess with the truck out of jealousy. He did point out something that I was not aware of. Apparently, Toyota installs a header for the exhaust manifold of the 2.7L engine. He pointed this out to me this afternoon.

Headers provide better breathing by having each of the exhaust tubes between the exhaust port on the head to the collector cut to the same length. I am not knowledgeable as to the concept of how it works, but the results are better power, and why they are desirable when getting more power out of an engine.

The advantage of headers is equal length tubes from each cylinder.
