Do you believe in karma?

Hey i was wondering, who here believes in karma? The reason i ask is that throughout my young life i have noticed a few things. Mainly, that the nice guy always get fucked. If the whole karma deal were true this wouldnt be so. The dicks get money and women, the nice guy get beat down and screwed. Thats just the way i see it. I think im gonna start being a dick just to see how things work out.

 

I believe karma makes for poorly formed witty comebacks.

 

I believe in Karma totally. The person who does "bad" will get it 10 fold in due time. May not be in days or weeks, but it'll happen when you least expect it. It's the only thing keeping me going at work with all the a-holes here.

 

I was taught, What goes around comes around. Now before I even think about doing something "bad" I think of my concequenses. So I guess I do believe in Karma.
That being said, Im a VERY nice guy, Easy to get along with. Ive never been a Dick head. But I do notice that I allways come in last..*facepalm* But I rather come in last with my head held high and people thinking oh man, Look at Jay Bourman, He is such a nice guy.

 

first hand experience that karma is true. Everytime i do something I know is wrong, I know karma is going to fuck me. and sure enough. nothings for free, you always pay

Seriously? Who gives a crap. You shouldn't go through life trying to be like other people. You shouldn't care whether those 'other' guys get the goods.

What comes around goes around and that's for sure.

Stop being jealous of others. Pay attention to YOUR LIFE. Remember, you're the only one who makes the bed that you sleep in. Don't let others try to tell you how to make it.

 

No im not jealous of anyone. Im just trying to make sense of things. As a kid youre told be good, do the right thing, blah blah blah. Then you do, and you lose. The guy/gal being a dick is the one who collects the goods. Does this make any sense? I dont think so.

yup went through most my life being an asshole. now im an asshole that does the right thing. karma takes its shots at me every now and again still

 

It does make sense actually. He may reap the rewards now in the short term, but the better man/woman will reap the rewards that mean the most in the long run.

 

We could all die tomorrow, may as well reap those short term rewards today.

 

I don't believe in any Religion.

I believe in Karma, and I believe in energy. If you're a negative person, you surround yourself with negative energy, and thus you will bring negative energy back to yourself, and visa versa.

Just because you get away with something for awhile, doesn't mean it won't come back to you, and just because lately you've been a good person doesn't mean shit will magically come your way.

I'm a nice guy, and I have plenty of fun.

And yes, I believe in karma, but it's probably not your definition of karma. I do believe that what you put out there in the world, makes a difference though.

True, or you could live a long life and be crapped on for most of it for what you've done earlier in your life... willing to take that chance? I think you are by the way you sound.

Truer words were never spoken. I don't believe in any religion either, but I sure as hell do believe in karma which will come around and bite you in the ass 10 fold.

 

Meh. It's a 50/50 shot either way. I'm just happy to wake up every day. I don't worry about life and all there is to it.

I find that it doesn't matter so much what happens, if it was destined to happen, or if your karma made it happen.

What I find, is that if you keep a positive attitude, bad things don't happen so often. A lot of this comes from the way you are perceiving what is happening to you.

If you can look at the good parts of the "bad" things that are happening, the bad things become much less bad.

I was expelled from a catholic high school I went to. At the time, it seemed like my whole world was crashing down on me. Then, a few months went by, and I realized it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

My 8 year relationship with my girlfriend recently ended. It was very tough at first, and still is sometimes. But I can't deny the fact that it is very much for the better. And that I will be much happier in the long run.

Many of these bad things that happen open your eyes, and make you realize things you may have not otherwise seen. They force you to grow, and become stronger.

A lot of those "bad" things aren't bad at all.
