OK, even though the search function on TW is better than some others I've used, it still falls short sometimes. Here's a much better way to search for topics/products/help on TW ( and other sites as well ).

Open Google, click on "advanced search", it's just to the right in small letters.

In the top space type what you're looking for. IE, "better brakes" or maybe "radiator flush".

Then go down to the bottom space and type in tacomaworld.com and hit enter. VOILA!! If it's not exactly what you want, go back and refine your search topic. Changing just a single word will often get you much different results.

    Enjoy :)

This is precisely why the search feature doesn't always seem to work so well.

Try it, you'll like it. And like I said, it works for other sites as well.

I've been pretty disappointed with the search function on TW as well. Recently, I just wanted a simple illustrated 5100 install thread, so I typed "5100 install" and was surprised at the amount of irrelevant crap I got. Even TN search works better (perhaps because there are fewer postings at that ghost town?). I'll definitely check out Google advanced search...

I have a write-up on improving the search results with TW's search engine. Link is in my sig.
