I am substitute teaching a Home education class. The teacher gave them nothing to do but play games. Our tax money at its finest.

man, i used to love when my teachers would do that

. Mine would usually give us somthing "semi-related" to the class at least though.... and it would usually turn into extra credit!

Generally I follow what the teachers give me. Yesterday I had to give an entire geometry lesson over Circle Angle Measurements and Segment Lengths. I think the kids were kinda bummed that they actually had to do work. I remember in school that the sign of a sub meant "free-day" which for the most part is true.

Most of the kids have already checked out. They only have about another week of school left. For most kids, unfortunately, this will probably be the last time they ever set foot into a class room.
