they were rating in the bottom 5 least most reliable and durable vehicles you can buy, I would stay away, not to mention the resale is the shits, that truck would be worth less than your taco after 5 years

that was a toyota dealer though. ford or chevy dealer aint gonna give you a good price on a toyota trade. My truck has some damage to it. I have an insurance claim of 2K, so they actually offered me 17 with the damage. The 2K from the insurance would bring it to 19K

Do you know what retail is? It stickered for 52K new (window sticker was in the truck).

Diesels hold their value GREAT. Especially a 4x4 diesel.

Turns out that my parents neighbor has the same exact truck, model, year, etc. I asked him how he liked it, he said it is awesome, minus the engine. There is a problem with some of the new 6.4s apparently that they cant track down :( Oh well. It is too much (awesome) truck for what I need it for anyways.

Dont waste your money on a newer powerstroke they are SH#T! Thats why they are releasing a NEW powerstroke engine. If you must have a diesel get a 7.3 powerstroke or a cummins

Best of ALL worlds would be Ford F-250 (or 350) with a Cummins diesel.

I have always thought that. However I can't complain about the 7.3 powerstroke that I was in my old F250. I love the sound of the Cummins.

I had one as well and it was a phenominal truck but not a great daily driver and my wife is very short and lost her company car so we had to dump it. God I miss that truck, but at least she agreed on the tacoma which is a great truck in its own right
