Yeah, that's a just a wee bit high. Sorry to hear that, man. You seeing blood pulsing through the vessels in your eyes with each heart beat? Then it's definitely time to lay off the smoking and cut back a bit on salt, etc. I'm borderline myself, likely only got a year or two left before I'm on some meds for it.

Exercise will work wonders even if you don't change much else. It may also be related to your job, depending on what you do. My job is f'ing ridiculous for stress... between that and smoking (which I can't quit because I so damn stressed at work) I've had borderline high blood pressure for the last 4 years. I'm not quite at the point of blowing a gasket but the doc gives me a lecture about it every year.

You may not believe me but a lot of it has to do with the full moon right now.
I've been feeling weird too and I always know when there is a full moon approaching.

I'm medicated for high blood pressure. Yes, getting old does suck, but I've had High BP for many years though.

So far this year, broken finger, turned 40, heard and felt a loud pop in my back (herniated disc) causing siatica (sp) then broke my foot last Monday after my first physical therapy session for my back.

Take care of yourself bro, you are lucky ya didn't stroke out and blow a vessel in your head. Can't stress enough to workout and to be compliant with your meds if ya get em prescribed.

I saw that's it's a full moon out, I'm expecting a busy night since I'm on shift. FML!

Hey Tacomaman have your cholesterol checked too. Wish I'd had mine checked at your age, could've avoided a heart attack. :(

    You're total isn't bad, but the triglycerides . . . OUCH

I know what you mean Will about getting older. I spent 4 hours in the ER Saturday because of chest pains. Luckily they said I wasn't having a heart attack.

Take care of yourself Will. Hope you feel better.

Don't know if salt is really a culpret... my mom used NO salt at all and had HIGH blood pressure. Dad coated all his food with salt and had LOW blood pressure.

But do try and eat better and get some exercise - Follow the doc's orders and take any meds if they are prescribed.
