A few years back lightning struck a house at the end on my street and set it on fire (punched a hole in the roof). I remember sitting in my living room watching TV, when the hair on the back of my neck stood up and you could hear the air crackling, then the loudest thunder ever, almost simultaneously and the lights flickered and house shook. It was one of those times where you know something happened somewhere close but weren't sure where. So i went out side to check and see and sure enough within minutes the fire department was on the scene putting out the fire.

    Scary but cool.

    I'm a huge thunderstorm lover.

Cool vid. We had some bad hail here a couple weeks back. The wife's car has some small dents in the hood and roof, but the taco looks pretty good. Can't find any dings in it.
I remember back in the 90's I lived out in the middle of nowhere. We had a big satellite dish, the kind when you changed satellites you could look out the window and watch it move. Anyway there was a big storm and we were sittin in the living room watching tv and lightning hit and the tv tube exploded inside the tv. The house was grounded but apparently the dish wasn't. It hit the dish, travelled through the lines underground, came in through the cable lines going to the tv, and blew up the tv. It was pretty cool.

Me too when I was younger. Ruined my toys and all the TVs had a green tint to them. It was pretty cool, though.
