    Build thread in sig...
well, today was my 21st birthday. My parents ask me every year, "is there something you would like for your birthday?" I feel guilty and spoiled whenever I get presents for some reason...so I usually just say that I'd like to go out for dinner and just have a good time with them and a friend or two. I did the same thing this year, but got a great surprise as well.

My younger brother (just turned 18) went onto TW and searched through a bunch of the builds and other threads. he came back to my mother with some ideas, and when we got home from dinner I had two gifts sitting on the kitchen counter.

They got me a 4 D-cell LED maglite. through my brother's searching, he even noticed that people are mounting them on the side of the seat. he was able to find a kit made by maglite that comes with the clamps an anto roll rubber sleve, and even some different lenses (red one that won't kill your nightvesion etc.)

on top of that, I got a printed out reciept of a set (front and rear) weathertech floor mats that are in the mail!

having payed for the whole truck and everything that goes into it myself, it means so much to me to see that they understand my passion for my tacoma.

I know this is a fairly pointless post, but I just had to let out some excitement out and say how much I love my family! maybe it's the southern boy in me, but while these presents are more than i could ask for, the work that my family did to figure out the perfect gift means so much more.

just thought i's share :) hope everyone had a fantastic day!

    -Colin

Nice! I've got some of the LED maglites like that mounted on both of my front seats. I love 'em!

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes! not to offend anyone older than me....but it was kind of depressing when i realized it's only 9 more years till i'm 30....life sure does fly by.
