    It is a must with the iphone! I never knew how much I was missing to I used a jailbroken iphone.

    I had to jailbreak mine to unlock it. I have been on AT&T for like 6 years and I was able to get my hands on an iPhone, (free is a very good price from a very good friend), figured I would try to do the whole unlock and not have to pay the $30 a month extra. Worked like a charm, loved every second I used that phone. Where I go to school there is campus/city wide WiFi so I had no need to pay for the data plan that I wasn't using at all. I never hacked the network, I paid for the services I recieved from AT&T, why the hell shouldn't I be able to use an iPhone too? Anyways, that was my soapbox, sorry fellas. Love the jailbroken i's...

    k i downloaded redsn0w and installed it into my iphone waited then let the phone do what it needed to be done. but after it was done i had no cydia icon or anything like that so im doing it again. anything im missing?
