So im going to Vegas for the first time in my 27 years of age. Im totally stoked and ready to get there. Stressed about my team at work being unsupervised for the week but I cant stop thinking about going. Everyone ive spoken to has agreed "You have to experience Vegas once in your life" Any ideas or recommendations TW!!! Im not too sure what to take for clothes considering we will be there this Wednesday through Saturday?

Anywho just had to vent a little. Thanks

You can drink on the strip in public (not in vehicles). Free drinks while you gamble, just tip the girls and they'll keep coming back. Slots are going to be looser on the old strip, be careful down there. Most of your newer casinos are tighter. Tons of stuff to do and see...a few free things to see there too. Night life is fun. Most of all...what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. You happen to see somebody you know from where you live...you didn't see them and they didn't see you.

take the 109 bus from the airport to the south transfer station, then get on the
"Deuce" that will take you anywhere on the strip. ( get on the top deck because
you will want to get a good view )
$2 each way or $15 three day pass

    http://www.rtcsouthernnevada.com/transit/route/

taxi $10-$20 on up each way
    shuttle service $15-$25 each way

    Have Fun!!

I've never been to Vegas- but I do know you need to forget about your team. There are other people there who are adults who can pay attention....Live it up!!

opps kinda late...but it's hot out here, going to be in the high 90's-100 this week since we have a cold front coming through , but it's very dry also so that affects some people a lot. Shorts/jeans and t's are good for 95% of the places, but if you plan on going to the clubs or to some fancy dinners then bring a button up, nice shoes and slacks.

Check out www.vegas.com for some ideas.
There are a lot of cheap places if you are on a budget, just have to know where to find them.

Check out the light show downtown between all the casinos, Fremont Street Experience, it's one of a kind, better to go on a fri/sat night.
The neighborhood use to be pretty bad, it's gotten better in recent years so people might say to watch out or don't go, but it's not that bad at all anymore since the Mayor 'revitalized downtown'.

Post up your pics when you get home.
