There was a free lance time. But, alas, it is no more.

The only time I've ever had to deal with nurses in a hospital was when my two kids were born--they are usually better than the doctors! The nurse with my first was the BEST! She knew what she was doing way better than the doc. The doctor came in while I was pushing and said, I don't think you will be able to do this. If you don't have him moved down in an hour, we will have to do a c-section." The nurse stood there quietly while he went on, and then as soon as he started to walk out of the room, said to me under her breath "Do you want a c-section?" I said NO! She replied, "Then lets get this baby out!" The head was showing the next time the doc came in, and the look of surprise on his face was hilarious! The nurses are for the patients, to save us from the doctors! I will never forget her! Nurses ROCK! Thank you!

Married to one for 23 years. Hell yes they rock and they can tell you which song on which album and the year it came out.

.......My sister in law is a nurse and has worked in the burn unit for many years.Seems like a lot of our guys are married to nurses as well.Strong individuals with hearts of gold in my experience.
