I have been in the market for sometime now looking for a fireplace or some kind of house heater system, just wondering what kine do you have and the pros and cons of it, plus we would only use it some winter nights:D

I just got a new furnace this past summer. I grew up with a furnace in SD. Parent (in SD) have a fireplace, used it like 3 time my whole life. Don't have one here in Colorado though.

I have electric baseboard heat, contrary to popular belief, it is the cheapest way to heat compared to oil/propane in my 3 bed ranch . I also have a wood stove in the basement .

Well we were looking at either a woodburning stove or just a small propane ductless heater, dunno though

    In all seriousness now...

I have baseboard heaters in mine. It gets about -40 F here in the winter. The peeps who own my apt complex insulated these fuckers SO well. I don't even have to turn the heat on like ever, it's so warm in here. But my GF's apt in town sucks, and she has baseboards. It gets colder in her room than it is outside. Don't know what to do. Landlord won't do shit.
