Woo Hoo Caribou Maine was 24 below yesterday and Portland was 1 degree. Last week it was 50 degrees statewide. Were about to get our 2nd snowstorm of the year tonight. 8"+ in ski country. Sick day? I think so. Oh yea, first snowstorm was 16"+ :D

    Yes nothing like Denver.

All of my co-workers in Houston have been complaining about the 35 to 31 degrees that we have had here. They didn't know what to do when the highways iced up.

They asked me why I came into work. I told them - if my bestfriend in Denver can go to work in a snowstorm, I can better a little ice. :)

LOL...I love hearing Americans compain about the cold. Try living through a winter in Central Alberta. Back in November it was around -30 celcius for about a week, and on occasion it gets colder. Its been nice lately though, +12 celcius today!! Oh and no problems with the Taco in that weather at all.

I agree with you on that one. I live Lethbridge, which is about 2 1/2 hours south of Calgary and it can get pretty cold here too. Nice thing about this part of the country is the "chinook" (warm winds off the mountains) wait a couple of days and the snow and ice is all gone.

Holy sh!t. +12? Send some of it this way dude. We're coming out of a serious freeze resulting in frozen and cracked pipes. Damn squirrels chewed through all the heat tracing.

Just be glad you don't live near Pulaski, NY. Over 100 inches this past week.

Not any better here in MN. -5F to 10F, without a lot of snow to justify the cold.

Yeah I just heard about that...that's insane!! I wish it would snow that much here though, it would be fun driving the Taco in that, if I could dig it out, hahahaha.
