Homeowner Association: Happy Valentine's Day ... No More Kissing!

We're sure, really, there are good things done by Homeowner Associations -- sometimes, periodically...at least once in a while. Here, a special Valentine's Day greeting -- don't forget to come to the V-Day party! -- that doesn't feel like one of those good things. In fact, if we were to receive a notice like this we'd probably be seriously questioning WTF possessed us to join a community like this in the first place. Of course, that's just us. Happy Valentine's Day -- enjoy or endure...

our hoa issued us a $25 fine for a basketball goal next to the driveway, it's one of the porable ones was only there for the weekend... WTF???

I also find it hilarious that they lump "don't kiss" together with "garbage pickup" details.

I think they are all just so power hungry that who ever is in charge makes what ever rules they want. Like in this cause the guy in charge has probably never had a woman, so he gets pissed if people are kissing.

I say its likely those folks who wrote the HOA notice don't get kissed and hugged very much. I wonder if its ok to hold hands. Maybe you should write back and ask them, tell them you love your wife and you'll kiss her where and when you please..

Next they will be complaining that a pick-up truck does not quite fit into their idea of a nice community, the truck looks to blue collar. You should be driving a nice autombile, oh and the color Black or White please as other colors clash with the decor of the community. Sheesh.

People love to tell others what to do and how to act don't they. Maybe you need to borrow an old, beat up, noisy, smoking, painted odd colors pick-up truck to drive for a week or so. They will be sending you a letter to please refrain from parking it in the community as it lowers the value of properties.

I have a buxom friend who finds clothes hard to fit her. She is usually showing some cleveage. She works in retail and has had some women ask her to zip up the tunic she wears a little higher. Its not like she was showing anything a high V neck or open collar would not show.

 

I guess you will have to skip the four play and just start tapping that

 

My former HOA = Lawn Nazis.

I will never live in a gated community again and sign over my rights to a bunch of power hungry control freaks that want to run my life.
