I'm not from Canada, and was disappointed to see the USA get beat, but you've got to congratulate the Canadian team for coming up with the win in the gold medal game on their own soil. Especially after having given up the tying goal with 24 seconds left in regulation. Hockey is such a big deal up there. I'm not even a hockey fan, but it was a good game, and I felt good for them coming out on top in the end.

I enjoyed the Olympics very much this time around.

It was a great game! I was definitely shitting my pants when USA scored with 24 seconds left. Good hard two way hockey. The only sad thing is that I don't know if regular NHL hockey can even entertain me anymore. Perhaps not until playoffs anyways.

A big well done to Canada!!!.
Great games all through the Olympics.
Bronze game was really good as the Fins pulled it out.

To see these players put that much effort into the games was fantastic.
These guys make a living doing this and to risk an injury in a tourn. that has little to do with their regular job shows a great deal of what these guys are made of.

If you saw Jager get drilled by Alex there was no half assed effort out there.

Hopefully the NHL can continue with this high note.

Couldn't agree more! Never seen people so "pissed" to receive silver. What a great game.

Cmack's the problem why my ipod wouldn't load. Thanks for all the over sized flags.

I don't even watch hockey but that game was fun as hell to watch. Good game by both sides. If we have to lose to somebody in hockey I would rather it be Canada.
But hear is a thought since both teams have 1 lost and they are to each other they should have a 3 tie breaking game. So I can watch another one.

Funny thing is the USA is still celebrating a Silver medal since we were ranked 7th by the NHLPA before the olympics started and Canada was like 2nd next to Russia.

Plus if Canada lost, it would have been a day of mourning in Canada today :)

Yeah I was quite surprised we even tied it up in the last 24 seconds. It seemed like the Canadian team was always one step ahead of us. It was a great game, and congratz to the Canada team, they deserved it.

The ending ceremony would not have been the same if Canada loss.
