Ever since Toyota has been getting hammered by the media, it seems that any call we run on involving a vehicle has involved a Toyota.

The majority of MVAs (motor vehicle accident) we go to have all involved Toyotas.

Had a bicyclist struck a couple tours ago, she was hit by an older model Camry.

Then today we were dispatched for a vehicle fire and sure enough it was an 08 Solara. Only she had just gotten back from a Toyota Dealership for her service and the mechanics left a shop rag in the engine compartment which caught fire.

Guys on my crew have been busting my chops about it ever since, all in good fun though.

this whole recall thing has gotten way out of hand, but if toyota had not let their quality slide they woulnd't have had to deal with it in the first place. toyota is not the death machine the media is making it out to be, but their quality has dropped, and they need to get back on the ball before it causes too much damage
