5/16th. I'm pretty sure that is it. I'll have to check, I took them off a few weeks ago since they get in the way of the hood, and flap around if they aren't tight.

Definately need to go wheel. Have you been to Sheep Wallow? I'll be going to Beasely pretty soon, not sure how built you are.

Nope, I haven't.

Not that built. Just an SR5 open/open 4x4 2.5" lift w/ 285 duratracs. Sliders are a purchase in the very near future once it warms up and I start wheeling more.

You'd be fine at Sheep Wallow. It's a fun place. 15 minutes from Amicalola and Old Buck Town.

Cool. Well I have been to Amicalola a few times. It's only about a 45-60 minute drive from my house.

New torsion bars, increase lift to 2.5" in the front and 3" in the rear. Bi-Xenon HID Projectors with HID High-beams has well. Ram Mount for iPad, LED turn signals and DRL's in the ARB (can't miss them now), tinted windshield (I have a eye condition that requires me to where near pitch black sunglasses + tinting), new Costco floor mats and some other garbage.

and my most recent modification. I am sharing parts of my build from Expo on here.

I went wheeling Saturday and gave the "L" shocks a test. Adding 3" of travel at the wheels in the rear has made a huge difference. To recap why I did the "L" shock mod, I have had Bilstein 4600's for the past 2 years. At the time I was not aware of the rear shock length. It is .5" shorter than OEM, and 1" shorter than the standard OME shocks for the 100. I was always on 3 wheels. The "L" shocks are the 80 Series long travel shock from OME. I thoroughly put them through their paces this week, from some higher speed washboard roads to some pretty twisty trails. I will admit, I love them 100%.

Some photo's of this weekend:

What LED's did you put in the ARB? How were they mounted and where did you get them from? Any pics of them turned on? This thread makes me want a landcruiser.

I used a 48LED board, glued to the face of the ARB lens with a clear epoxy. I can take some photo's later today when it gets dark out. This is the only one I could find with them on. I use the same as a blinker in the ARB. They are stupid bright and work well. When these burn out I will order them again and paint the board black. So they are invisible when off.

Thanks guys, I just picked up some shortie headers for the 100. Install is in a few weeks when I get some time. After that I am going to install a different muffler and hopefully get to work on the rear bumper issue.

Wow. It's been a long time. I can't possibly remember all the mods I did since I last updated this thread.

I'll list the main ones...
BFG AT 315/75/16 (35's)
Doug Thorley 2.5" cat-back
LED's
Rebuilt the roof rack
Morimoto 3" FXR / 55W ballasts and Osram CBI's.
TJM skid plates
Removed OEM Tupperware bumper
Dynomat'd cargo area ( best mod ever)

Love the look of those light bars! That last picture threw me for a second, then I scrolled down and noticed your comment. That is my favorite body style of LandCruiser and you have done such a great job modding it. It looks GREAT!!

Thanks! The 100 Series doesn't age. 13 years old and still looks current.
