Still thinking of supercharging it? I would love to sc my 06 but not sure with the vvti.

You truck looks amazing and I can only imagine it's a beast on the trails.

Not sure, I would love to but I have not heard any new news on the URD supercharger for the tundra. 2 years ago they said they were testing one for a while and got it working. All they were waiting on something though....guess it never went to market. And toyota does not make one for the 2005 tundra anymore...or ever for the vvti. Dream ideas would be to either LS swap it just like everyone else...... or do a tundra 5.7 swap, and add the s/c to that..... OR throw a turbo on the truck with the 4.7L thats in there now. Too many options and too little $$$$$ lol.

Thanks Robert..its been a very very long build, but it is fun on the trails I will admit. A little wide sometimes but it is not that much of a problem.

    ...too much shit to list.
Boosting a 2UZ is a recipe for blowing the engine. Connecting rods are cast...and they break real easy.

The man has spoken. No turbo. I think for now I'll be fine with the power. I need to adjust to the truck once this build is done.

Here is a before and after clip of my exhaust. From having cats and a muffler to just straight pipe. Truck is being dropped off next week to Steve. I am thinking about doing a bezel exhaust coming from the bedside but doing dual bezels, one on each side. But we will see. 6 month build here we come. https://vimeo.com/161702334

Day 15 Update. First few images are from Day 1. Hubs are finally shipped and on their way. Seats should be ordered next week but that's if I'm able to choose a color pattern. Wheels have been sent to get machined. Still need to decide what 37's I'm going to be running on the truck. 323d6dab4a88cc70eaaedc5281347978_2c625d9e4a11840f569815ef95b6773d56e08d4f.jpgbae39604bb2401820e733f15ca0cab3a_41c929e36af3d2dcf2765565723e2ec5ad3bb7d2.jpg7c2ea04f3615b565b2f6403cf1a36591_f6b2f57379001e530b6b165a45f7f74cfb17c214.jpgb02127368f574e7ac95ccfca3753c261_65623fc1a0eeba9f2ceef68bd2ecc4bf10383e53.jpg3b6c44ddcfd11e6ebb01b73114959642_ba41caca13cb68023593462557d54cbe80a7bf53.jpg6b7c8c9f9126f8a5efe2da25b2c3dd3c_95c406d84f91ccef070d74fb03a3a53c385993fe.jpgd79fd36afbc3e0f8c7ef59a27d30c339_95640515a74cd944a221bd7b4eb0dd3e0b89b0bd.jpg

    Update:
Steering Rack Assist in the works. Check out my thread about the group buy. http://www.socaltundras.com/Forums/showthread.php?10522-Steering-Rack-Assist-Group-Buy&highlight=

But here are some pictures of the steering rack assist. Seats should be ordered this Friday......I really have had a hard time choosing a color for the seats. I think going sold black is probably the best way to go....Also I decided to change the gears and go up to 5.29. Oh yea, the Burg hubs and snouts finally came in last week. Ill upload pictures tomorrow.
