Cool, my buddy SASed his 4Runner and did the 3in springs and those things put him on up there. I think he's running 35x14.50 SSR. The TG springs ride and handle really well, I think you will be happy with them. If you do the re-build kit I highly recommend the Marlin kit. Came with Koyo bearings and Marlins Eco-Seals.

Thanks, I'm anxious to see how yours turns out

Thanks for the advice! I have heard good things about those marlin seals. I'll have to look into ordering that kit. I'm still debating the size springs I want. Pretty sure i want the 4 in kit. What size tires is your buddy running on his 4runner? I want to clear 35s but still fit in my garage... Lol

Yeah I really liked the seals that came with the kit.

He did 3in leafs in the front and rear. He ran 33x12.50's for a while then decided he wanted 35s. So now he's running a 35x14.50 SSR or some kind of Swamper. I like the look and room you can have with 33's. Where with his 35's he had to trim a bit, plus he's sitting pretty high.

Making progress on the axle. Cleaned it up. Brackets are cut off and smoothed down. Primed the housing. Cleaned and reassembled the hubs too.

Thanks! I'm doing most of the work. I had the gears and locker for the rear set up by a shop. But, I will be giving the front a try myself. As far as the sas work goes: There's a thread on another forum where the guy drove the truck to a shop, had the kit welded to the truck with the ifs in place, then drove it home to do the swap. So, that is what I have planned. I'm having a professional do the welding to the frame for safety reasons... Lol

No, but I do have a bunch of 2nd gen Tacoma badges in my garage that I could put on it. Hahaha
