Nice 93! (see sig :D) pretty rare to see one in great shape, I'll be following this build and starting one on my 93 as well (maybe, I haven't even started my other truck build yet)

    any suspension plans?

Thanks man. I don't really have any plans for suspension. Slight armor maybe, bumper, sliders etc. I have plans for a bumper that is in the works currently. Still need to go over with final plans with the guy that will be making it. But that's really it as I would love to get a Tacoma one day.

Have you used your new Baja lights yet? The beam style is cool, it's nice and wide but not too tall.

Oh that blows. I remember you saying Saturdays weren't good for you.

Yes the pattern is pretty nice. Not tall at all on mine. More of a straight forward beam, not terribly wide on mine. But I have both in the center. And the outer lights take care of my width.

:) thanks man. Went and bought that power ball you mentioned and used it. Took a lot less time! And I love the new lights! :woot:

That seems to be just for the rear correct?

And camera wise, those were shot with a Canon 50D lens was the Canon 17-40L  some post editing was done but very little, messing with colors and such.

Did you go the same way we went in May or did you explore? Because from what I understand those roads can go forever and one leads down to a lake?

I went the same way that we went before. All the way to the hill climbs. Then went back down the same way. I didn't go the way we went out due to the fact that Flushead had to pull me over that rock I didn't want to encounter that alone so I went back the way that I knew I could make it. No exploring was done.

yeah, quick way to counter saggy leaf packs. obviously new packs and shocks etc is preferred but since you mentioned you don't want to commit a ton of dough to this so you can move up to a new taco I thought I'd mention it.

btw, I like my 93 a lot more than my 12, just saying :D

 got ya. I wouldn't mind throwing a small lift under it, but it's hard to commit to it. As like I said and you know I would like to upgrade. And I love my truck as well man. It's been a great one! I have enjoyed it very much. I'm just noticing quite a bit of surface rust (bumpers) which can be replaced which is no biggie. Body wise I am pretty good. Except I have noticed my hoods clear coat starting to fade. :(

So guys after my last wheeling trip to Hurricane Creek (I'm assuming it was done then) I noticed that my CV boot on the drivers side is torn/ripped and I will be replacing the whole CV axle next week. I'm pretty sure the CV itself is fine, but I will be replacing the whole thing while I am under there.

Any tips that anyone might want to throw in for me?

I don't know much, but any bearings in there you will probably want to keep greased well and not get them dirty

Definitely not driving it until it's time to move it to go fix it!
