'97 GMC 1500 "Maroon Goon"

Well, my dad picked up this '97 GMC k1500 from a guy for $2000 because he didnt want me to take my Yota anywhere were i'd tear it up.

The guy we got it from got it cause a buddy owed him $$ and didnt have it, so he took his truck haha. And he had 37" tires on it but he popped one somehow so he stuck some near-bald 35s on it.

It has...
6"+ suspension lift
True-dual straight pipped exhaust
Billet grille
Pioneer radio

I'll post more pics of what I've done to it soon.

Aight I have...
Removed the big ugly wind deflector from the hood.
I removed the red "4wd Specialist" decal from the windshield.
Took off all of the black and chrome trim around the whole truck.
I replaced the bald 35s with a set of barely used 35" Hankook Dynapro MTs.
Took off the front bumper, removed the molding, and license plate holder, then bedlined it.
Took of the chrome rock guards in the wheel wells.. I just havent washed it yet so all of the dirt is still were everything was haha.

The taillights that were on it had clear lenses with chrome on the inside, and I hate chrome, so I opened them up in the oven and painted the chrome black and VHT'd the clear lense. Looks good to me!

And I pulled the rear bumper off yesterday and took off the molding so I can bedline it soon.

Future mods are..
New 6" exhaust tips
Tint
37" tires
Wheels
New headlights

It would look great with skinny mud terrains and black wheels!

Thanks! I dont have the money for wheels and tires right now, so I was thinking about painting the wheels that are on it black.

Post an add on craigslist wanting to trade yours for 37 mud terrains, some dummy who bought 37's that won't fit will trade with you.
