The truck was meant for my son but the wife is freaking now that she knows 94's didn't have air bags.

I painted all the rims black for now.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
He'll be fine, truck wont go fast enough to get into much trouble. That's what a kid needs, slow and reliable. I never had a car with airbags until my Tacoma haha.

Never understood why some parents buy Mustangs and Camaros for their kids, I can't imagine what the insurance is like on those with 16 year olds behind the wheel! Ouch.

I wanted a 89-95 Toyota Pick-Up SO bad when I was in HS (graduated in 2002). I finally got mine a few years ago and I kept thinking to myself how perfect it would have been to own when I was in HS.

Honestly, in an accident, the lack of airbags wouldn't be the first thing that would concern me, it would be the complete lack of metal around me.

If you want to check for other rusty places, pull the front fender liners and check the base of the firewall.

No rust there. This truck was very lucky.

    Nice!

Mine was from SC, had been in the Northeast for only about 10 years. Frame was solid, most of the body was solid, I only had some rust there. Everything else outside of the driver's door was pretty much rust from scrapes. I'm sure the back wheel arch would have gotten bad had I kept it, but it was never my intention to keep it for that long.

    I miss it daily. :(

5 years later my son is graduated college and moving to Virginia. We bought him a new Toyota so the 94 will be sold. Not sure what the going price is for these.
