Now I know i dont have any drift pictures on here but frankly... i know how the TW police are and how quickly id get called out for reckless driving or something LOL but she definitely loveeess corners and actually corners extremely well whenever you actually point and aim her rather than throw her around.

Future plans and goals:

Abuse this engine as much as itll allow. Shes just my project car so reliability really isnt important lol.
On this engine i am going to put a new header on it (6-3-2-1 style) with a full exhaust, get the carb gone through and readjusted, and once tuned right, will either get a blow through turbo setup on her and boost her till she pops or run a 100 shot of nitrous till she burns up.

Once the l28 gives up, I am going to put a 5.3 iron block vortec in her.
Why iron block? Because theyre cheap, plentiful, and blocks are a super easy to find.
Engine will be getting an LS6 cam and valve springs, custom headers bolting up to a 81mm turbo with all necessary accessories(lines, fittings, intercooler, blow off valve, etc. )

Why do i not go into detail about every little item? Because it will be built on a budget and some parts will be off of ebay and some off craigslist etc and might change as i go depending on budget.

Behind the 5.3 will be a T-56

The t-56 will be going to stub axles from an infinity q-45 inside an r-200 diff!

Power goals = 400-500 hp to the rear wheels with around 20lbs of pure boosted sex

Body goals= Stealth bomber paintjob, the Rising Sun painted under the hood, JDM fender flares, Watanabe wheels, 5% tint all around, and that should be it.

Interior goals= with that much power, il be able to put the interior back in without weight concern so would like to get completely custom interior that makes you feel like youre in an old school fighter plane when you sit in it.

Unrealistic Dream Engine= RB26 Twin Turbo fully built

Enjoy

Gonna use this spot to keep notes on engine build parts

For the EFI/Turbo/EDIS conversion

Okay so far i have this much figured out

Il need to order the MegaSquirt -II ECU($450)

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...ecu-p-171.html

The stimulator seems to be highly recommended and i wanna get it right the first time so that too($70)

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...unit-p-33.html

The cable($6)

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...thru-p-35.html

Wire harness ($85)
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/1...eady-p-43.html

Wideband($200)
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/i...3769-p-41.html

Relay board($95)
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...unit-p-32.html

Since i am going to turbo it I want the IAT as well so that too ($24)
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/g...tail-p-62.html

The stock fuel tank is trashed and leaks horribly when full and is in the way of exhaust so will also be getting a fuel cell in back of car while at it
($250)
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-291215d/overview/
And the fuel pressure regulator($150)
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/a...tor-p-526.html
Walboro 255 Inline pump ($100)
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpn-gsl392/overview/
Bigger oil pump to feed turbo oil lines($100)
http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/17-8021
---------------
For EDIS swap

Ford Explorer or Windstar with the V-6. Pull the 'control module'. It will say EDIS-6 on it.

From a Ford Escort, pull the damper and VR sensor.

Then get a Dodge intrepid v6 coil pack

The paired datsun cylinders that will be 'sharing' a coil are 1-6, 2-5, 3-4

EDIS-6 Triggers the coil in the sequence A-C-B

----------------

Supra 440cc injectors

Custom fuel rail for 11mm o-ring injectors

I know nobody is following this thread but hopefully this'll get some peoples attention.. Picking up a part for my build this saturday. Getting this lil beautProject Slide2Unlock!-imageuploadedbytapatalk1372914157.078812.jpg
For a steal along with a spare block to start building on the side.

Gonna order a stock exhaust and intake manifold next along with a fuel rail, FORD 30# injectors, t4 turbo, walboro 255 along with all the lines and fittings.

Then since mine is carb'd il need an ECU or "the brains" and going with a megasquirt since the stock sucks for tuning and is a mess.

Havnt looked into the ignition yet but will definitely get that figured out once everything else is on.
Lesson i learned awhile back that ill never forget is that boost doesnt kill engines, detonation does.

That thing looks like a party! Is there any room for upgrades to the steering? It looked in the video like there was alot of compensation going on to keep her in check.

The car in the video wasnt mine. It was a fully built track monster.

As for mine, im not sure. The steering is tight(no powersteering) and love the way it handles.

Just finished reading and taking notes on the MegaSquirt MegaManual.

Im confident i can get the EFI and everything all wired up correctly and know what il need. Now to just order the parts

Gonna have to buy a laptop to tune it tho oh well.. That just means i can get mad and tell it to shutup when its telling me "Danger to Manifold" and slam it back into my dash lmfao

SO. MUCH. READING

Alllllmost got the EFI Turbo swap figured out.

All thats left is to figure out which fuel rail, injectors, and coils to use for the EDIS swap.

Ive read everything from stock turbo injectors will (290cc) to 440c Supra injectors and coil packs from an LS1 camaro to Ls truck coil packs.

My eyes and brain hurt lol
