I learned how to get married. Does that count?
She makes some damn tasty rolls from scratch too.

Ya i just wanted something a little different. It's kinda funny showing it to people in person because it's literally jaw dropping to them when I open the tailgate and the whole oven slides out.

    Thanks guys

Plausible...but not recommended. The slide out has quick disconnects so the whole thing can come out and be set on the ground really easily. That said...it's only a 6 foot box and 22" high so might be a little claustrophobic...ish. And most of all...if it's cold at all, it'll feel like a fridge sleeping in an uninsulated tin can.

The oven is bad ass. Even at my elevation it got up to 450 no problem. It maintains temperature pretty easy too.

    Why not both?

    W.I.F.E.

    Washing
    Ironing
    Fucking
    Etcetera

Making cinnamon rolls would fall into the etc category. :D

On a different note...I towed the trailer down to Carson yesterday to make it all legal. Part of getting it registered is you must get a unladen weight slip first. Anything under 1000 lbs gets a dinky motorcycle license plate (which I don't want). So...to ensure I was over 1k lbs, I filled up the water tank to the brim, put the battery in, kept all the cabinetry and oven in, and of course left the RTT on.

Got to a local scale and the lady running it was super cool as I explained I wanted to make sure I was over 1k. It's a catch 22 though...as part registration is taxed based on weight. Unloaded the trailer onto the scale and it read 1480 lbs

So pull out 150 lbs for tent, 175 lbs for 21 gallons of water, 50 lbs for cabinetry and oven, and probably 60 lbs for the battery, plus misc shit inside the tongue box. Trailer itself is right around 1000 lbs. The nice lady wrote the slip up for 1100. :D

Regardless...tows pretty damn great. No sway at all. I pulled the bottom two leafs out of the leaf pack and after driving it around I'm going to stick one of them back in and bump up the nitrogen in the shocks. Suspension is actually too soft at the moment.

Anyways....all tagged and legal now! Official DMV assigned VIN stamped and stickered on the trailer. The inspector told me it was built exactly to state requirements (actually beyond considering I have brakes too) and "damn sexy." Anything over 80" has extra laws (which I knew). When he measured the width, it came out to 78 inches...by design. :D

We've got the red one, would have preferred black but it was all costco was carrying. I think we paid 160 at costco for it.

Needs an "anchor light" for a couple of high-mount 2x2's in the 'kitchen'.

Can't wait for the cinnamon rolls...

Fuck me six way's to Sunday....I am so tired of doing wiring. I'd rather build another trailer frame than do more wiring.
I could have not loomed it...
I could have crimped instead of soldered the "important" bits...
    I could have bought a pre-built panel...
I could have just ran wires all of the fucking place like most the bullshit wiring I see....

But NOOOOOOOOOO. I'm too much of a god damn perfectionist. This is why I do this shit as a hobby and not a profession. Companies that make these trailers as a living have guys that do fab, guys that weld, guys that do electrical, guys that do accessories, etc. etc. etc....
Dumbasses like me who think they can just put on a different hat from day to day and have to be a jack of all trades...we get frustrated and swear profusely and throw tools out our garage door so far that they end up in the neighbors driveway.

    /rant

I'm about half way done with the wiring. My switches use a smaller .187" instead of the standard .250 connector...which is impossible to find locally and the dipshit I bought a pack from on Amazon sent me a clusterfuck of male and female connectors instead of just the female connectors I ordered. But I digress...

Yeah...don't think I didn't notice that too. Trying to drill 8 fucking holes completely in-line with a drill that has a bent chuck is a pain in the ass. If there was a radio shack within any reasonable distance I would have bought a whole fucking new one and started over.

    PS....fuck you.

Well fly over to Reno and I'll pick ya up!

    Top-down:
    Bow (Tongue Box) Lights
    Cabin (Interior) Lights
    Deck (Rock) Lights
Flood Lights (Off rear of trailer, also wired as reverse lights)
    Water Pump
Accessories (External USB and 12 volt plugs)
    Power Inverter
Battery (switch on to see remaining charge left in the battery on the voltmeter)

    Ya know...it's a damn good think we're friends. :D

Meh I'm over it. Kind annoyed me at the time along with the accidental dremmel notch, but whatever. It's still gonna function perfect and it still ended up looking pretty good.
