Is the tongue but welded to the frame? Or does it extend to the first cross member?

I've had trouble with but welded tongues bending at the frame/tongue joint. The welds are plenty strong, but the steel around the welds allow the tongue to bend up.

Otherwise, beautiful welds and fab work.

Sub'd because I build lots of trailers and I love to see what else is out there. The trailer in my sig is what I build mostly.

It is but welded to the frame with gussets also, then behind I put anothe 2" square tube behind to the crossmember so it won't pull it out over time, thankyou for the complements :) nice trailers you build also !

Trailers looking awesome! Wish I knew how to weld, I have the bottom part of a trailer I would love to turn into a camping trailer. Just need to get a welder some steal and learn to weld. I am screwed!
