Already started on the first project.

Mocked up. Pretty sure the 14's will be too long... only ~3 1/2" of shock shaft showing at ride height. I could cut the the tabs off the hoop and rotate them up to get another 1" but I really don't feel like it. I'll probably end up running the 14's in the rear and put the 12's that I have in the rear now up front.

Sucks the 14's won't work.. My friend has 14's and his shocks max out right when his spring goes flat.. 12's are about perfect for these trucks with the amount of lift we run..

Yeah like I said I could rotate the tabs up but I just don't want to mess with it. Honestly I don't think I'd use all the downtravel of the shock in the front anyways so they will be better suited for the rear. The rear is setup for massive droop but the shocks have always been my limiting factor

Mount them through the bed using F250 towers.. That'd be AWESOME!

I don't think I'll have to run them through the bed at all. I measured the existing mounts I have and I should have 4 1/2" of shock shaft showing at ride height which leaves 9 1/2" of downtravel

I would love to but I want to keep the bed. Realistically a 3 link front will be a better choice for me. The 63's work very well and I'm sure will be even better when I get longer quality shocks back there

Hit up Russel G on this form or on the Toyotaholics FB page. He swaped a 5vz into his 1st gen long bed. DD, 40"s, blah blah and he told me he easily hits 80 mph on the highway. His truck is fucking awesome. He also did a FJC dash and steering wheel swap too.

Finished the shock hoops last week. Ended up running the 12's in the front and the 14's out back. Still haven't stretched it out yet.

Today I got the tcase out and got the twin sticks installed. Also looks like my leak was coming from the shifter so hopefully with the new gasket and the fully sealed twin sticks I'll have no more leaks. Tranny shifter was hitting the 2wd/4wd knob going from 3rd to 4th so no knobs for now. Gotta figure out how to make the factory boot work with the tg boot too but for now it works.

Haha already crossed my mind. I may just wait for now. If I got dual cases it will work perfect because I can use the TG boot on the twin sticks in the back and the factory boot on the tranny shifter and crawlbox shifter.

It's just a transmission rubber shift boot with the metal plate around it, I cut off the top shift tcase boot section. You should be able to make it work, cut some metal to hold the twin stick boot and attach it to the trans boot plate. I'll text you a pic.
