Yeah, it'll need to be done eventually though...

It's so much fun just being able to drive by something, wonder what that was, and just do a quick u-turn and go looking around. Found an old cemetery and a run down school haha
I'll just grab one of these when the time comes.

Yeah, the truck is pretty much in the background now... Haha

Still drives great and it still looks good haha
Yeah, I cut a little too much off of my throttle grip, so it doesn't look the greatest. Oh well haha

I'd love to have a KTM. I've always loved those bikes. Somebody on base has a KTM supermoto. Not sure which one it was though.

I'm just bad about having expensive hobbies, so when I don't have a decent amount of money sitting around I get bored haha
I was wanting to get into mtn biking, but this is much more fun :D
They're fun little bikes. Not the most powerful obviously, but can still get plenty of fun out of them.

Mountain biking is so expensive for what you get, monstrous legs and great cardio. Anymore, I just cant see spending thousands on something with out a motor

When i get all my stuff that i have accumulated on my truck, it will be done until next spring. Unless i start buying lights and skid plates for it. Then there are no guarantees

Probably about to get a couple more things for the bike. So tempting to just go ahead and buy the stage 1 perfromance kit now, but I shouldn't spend that much... Haha

I'll probably just get a new seat and rear taillight for now.

Next will be the performance kit though. Then it will be wheelie time! :D

I'm told that once you get the new exhaust, sprocket, and fuel programmer it's much more torquey, and easier for wheelies.

Still trying to find a good mirror replacement. Might do this setup, except attached to the existing bolt. $16

    Don't tempt me! :p

Went ahead and bought those mirrors, hopefully they mount up well. From what others have done I'll just have to buy a couple longer bolts to fit them onto the existing holes in the hand guards. For only $18 on Ebay I can't complain haha

    That's $700 I DON'T need to spend haha

I'm buying the seat and rear taillight instead this time around...

I haven't driven it enough to make myself appreciate the 250. Once I get more miles under my belt I'll get the kit and I'll be that much more happier haha

Haha you have to realize this is my first bike, plus I don't like going super fast on two wheels. If I want fast I'll stick to a car of some sort. All I want is more torque. I can get it up to 70-75mph now and that's good enough for me.

Big bore is definitely not happening anytime soon. Maybe when it's paid off...

Now I'm trying to decide whether or not to get a seat with gripper covering on top and carbon on the sides, or all carbon.

I'm worried the gripper top might be too grippy and not allow me to shift around enough catch the bike on uneven surfaces. Plus I tend to change riding position often.

But I'm worried the all carbon will look to ricer I guess you'd say haha

Do you have a link for those mirrors?

I have a wr250r that I bought heavily modded from another member so I don't know what all was done to it. I did install a flat land racing skid, gps mount &wires, battery tender quick connect, and some other little b/s. New tires are by far the best thing I've done to it.

Fun bike but it hardly gets used in the dirt enough. I'd like to get an sm and have both at the same time. Had a drz sm as my first bike and I wish I never sold it.

Thanks. Did you get them yet?

I dropped my bike once and broke off the left mirror. Stupid ass design anyway lol.

I just bought them an hour ago... Haha :p

I've dropped mine a couple of times and the OEM mirrors are just scratched up a little. The way the mirrors are on the CRF250's bugs the crap out of my and make the bike look ugly haha so once these go on I think the bike will look MUCH better...
