552Jrider's M100 Trailer Build

I have been on and off looking for one of these for a few years and I finally found one and for only $98 bucks. Cant ask for a better deal than that. Its In good condition considering its age. Only has surface rust no big rusted out spots. I'm going to focus right now on cleaning it up then down the road ill set it up more for expedition.

The Condition I got it in(It looks pretty rough)7/26/14:

Great price. Check the frame out for cracks where the shock mounts to it, they are known for cracking there.

My own project, exchanging information

I have an M100 in similar shape. Turning it into a "Transformer" style utility/canoe carrying camping trailer. Planning to add a few "glamping" (that's new word for me) accessories for the wife. Have you thought about your axle and whether you plan to replace it stick with the military axle and just refurbish it? I'm thinking I want to get hubs to match my truck so I can carry one spare rather that two different spares. A back mounted spare might balance out the weight of the extended tongue a bit though.

Got any thoughts on this? Anyone?
