Changing the thread up since I sold my 2012 Corolla. I'm going to be posting about my 1990 Lexus LS400 and 1971 Toyota Corolla TE28 2 Door Wagon(The reasons my Tacoma will never be done). Also some posts about the cars and other things I come across at work. I work with my dad and his wife at their auction company. I come across cars, firearms, and everything in between.

    The Lexus

The TE28. Finally brought it home from work and have started the tear down.

The Corolla in September of 2015 before the small part out and then sold at auction.

When I first got her in July of 2013 with the factory lift kit... [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I have a little build thread for the stereo on TN
    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/3...or-audio-forum/765106-stereo-my-10-5-gen.html

I got a little Plastidip crazy in the beginning of 2014.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Then finally saved some money to make the car look nice and get rid of most of the plastidip

I bought some 17" XRS wheels from a friend for $150
    [IMG]

Took the plastidip off and cleaned them up. I found out 3 center caps were broken, and ordered new ones.

I got them powder coated Anthracite Metallic [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Got them put on with some new tires
    [IMG]

Then got the new center caps color matched
    [IMG][IMG]

Decided she needed some low and got some 9th Tein S Techs
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    I debadged the rear
    [IMG][IMG]

I ended up blowing a strut on my girlfriends dirt road, so I told her I'm never going on it again. I park at the end of the paved road and she comes and picks me up haha. I didn't want to deal the blown strut so I saved and got some coilovers.

I picked up these brand new Megan Racing Street Series coilovers for $600 from the same guy I bought the wheels from(he has the grey Corolla in the previous pictures). He bought them and then decided he wants to get a different car.[IMG]

Put them on the car and decided to max them out since it's not that extreme of a drop. I'm very impressed the ride of these coils. I had 600lb of people in the car going 85 mph on the freeway, and it rode just like it would with only me in the car. She's not slammed, but close enough to it. I won't go any lower, at least for now haha. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I scrape quite a bit now. I'm fine on most speed bumps. Some drive ways I scrape pretty bad on.

I already preran the speed bumps, don't worry my approach angle isn't always that bad.[IMG][IMG]

I scraped really bad one night trying to leave a parking lot that lead into a dirt road. I was trying to get back onto the pavement and had to drop off a small curb thing. I was screwed no matter which way I went.

    Here's the aftermath of that
    [IMG][IMG]

The next thing I'm doing is putting an iPad Mini in the dash. I have the iPad already, I'm just waiting on the Audison bit ten processor to start that. Then eventually redo the whole system.

It's been done in the Corolla already. I wont have to destroy the dash like in my brother's Tacoma, so I'm glad about that.

Just some random pictures over the last few weeks

I like these builds. They look sharp and can be done on nearly any budget.

Here's my friends with the 11th gen wheels! I would say look for some Tc wheels. They look really good on the Corollas!

This could've been bad.. I have no idea when the nut fell off, but I felt the coilover slide off. There was even lock tight on there. Luckily I have some friends that have other friends. I made a phone call to one of my friends and he called a friend. I had a new nut in less than an hour and got it back together right after. Toyota said it would take 2-3 days to get a new one..

Nice looking car man! I would say ditch those Megan coilovers and look into ground control with Koni shocks. I had a set of Megan C/O's break during a turn and caused me all sorts of issues when the car decided to slam into the ground.

Your pup looks like mine did when he was 4 months old. Now all he wants to do is hog the couch, fart, snore and bark at the raccoons...

I bought a new 12 inch Memphis M5, my old M5 was wore out. It didn't blow and it still hit hard, but the sub itself was rattling.

I've had a couple people tell me I need to plasti dip my wheels black... I guess some people can't tell the difference between stock silver and Anthracite Metallic. There's no way I'm plasti dipping perfectly fine powder coated wheels hahah.
