I just used the tubing that it came with and haven't experienced any issues.

I think that's just personal preference. I'm sure you could use larger piping and have much better curving pipe vs the tubing bends, that's my ultimate plan.

I don't think you could go with a larger diameter tube from snorkel to intake. My space is pretty tight. I do agree you could probably get better angles.

Just installed my airflow america snorkel on my 2011 4x4 tacoma...

Read somewhere that the rain water does not enter the trucks engine? I just don't understand how water is spelled out from the snorkel, can someone explain it to me?

Read also someone installed a drain also, got pics and info on where exactly was it done?

    THX in advance

Why not? Others want to purchase it, why not help them out?

Totally appreciated, and totally cooL with it. Like I said, I think its a good product, just had troubles with the supplier and want to be able to provide the best customer service possible.

Like I've said before I realy like mine and I think it is the best size for the 2nd Gen Tacoma's not to big not to small. I've had it for just about a year now it's been in 100* weather without a problem when I wash the truck I use a high pressure hose and have yet to find water in the TRD CAI or a wet filter. I think when you get in to putting these things on your truck you do need to mod the plumbing, as far as the A-pillar I to had the bracket with only one hole to attach it to, but realy that is all you need because the snorkel fits very snug against the fender and A-pillar, unless you wheel so hard you might pull it off and if you wheel that hard you don't need the snorkel hanging off the side anyway. Snorkel's can get hung up on things like tree branches and such so depending on your style of wheeling that should determine whether you should get one. Soon as I figure out how to transfer pictures off of this damn phone I will put them in this thread.

Thanks for your advise, what type of modding do you think should be done to the plumbing?

It depends on what you run into while doing the install I used all the components it came with and other than only using one of the holes on the bracket to secure it to the A-pillar I was good to go.
